Configuration is at the same timeextremely simple and flexible. Through some configuration forms, directly integrated within TCPOS Admin, it is possible to define all the needed parameters, such as
Web Module Usage
When opening the page, the browser will check if the Silverlight client is already installed. In case it is not, a button will appear to perform the installation.
Once the main page is opened, the login screen is displayed. The user will perform the login using his personal code and password. In case these are forgotten, and an e-mail address is associated with the code, the password can be automatically re-sent to the user’s email.
After the login, the main reservation screen will allow the user to choose in which restaurant to perform his reservation (if more than one is configured) and to review what has already been reserved. To make a reservation, simply click on the day / meal combination of interest and a new screen will open to choose the articles to reserve.
In the articles detail window, clicking on an article on the left will add it to the reservation, clicking on an article on the right (i.e. a reserved article), will remove it from the reservation.
It is also possible for the user to autonomously modify his email address, PIN, or even lock his account (in case, for example, he lost his personal card). Please note that locking an account will require an administrator to un-lock it.
The sample application on this demo server is configured with four customer accounts:
Name | Code | Password |
Jack Black | 1 | 1 |
John White | 2 | 2 |
Jim Pink | 3 | 3 |
Luke Brown | 4 | 4 |
Login with any of these users, and feel free to try to make reservations or change the user data. The database is reset to its initial state every day at 2 am.
