Security
Data on cash registry are not accessible since the program does not allow to access to the operative system. To avoid the access to unauthorised staff, it is enough to not have a keyboard linked to the cash registry. Data on the data base can be accessed with a username/password. These data are written in a file available only on the middle tier. TCPOS manages the log of all changes implemented by the users on the database. TCPOS does not have proprietary antivirus functions but no problems, bonds, criticalities and impacts are known on the cash registry operativity in presence of any anti-virus software running on the POS terminal. TCPOS can work with any kind of firewall.
